Kryterion Africa
A Nigeria-founded group for consequential execution.
Kryterion works where policy, institutional trust, technology, delivery partners, owned intellectual property, operating ventures and capital must be assembled into something that can operate, endure and scale.
Who we are
Strategy was the beginning—not the destination.
Kryterion began as a strategy and programme-delivery company. Its work now increasingly spans institutional architecture, policy, product qualification, challenge-to-pilot pathways, owned programme IP, systems integration, venture building, operating assets and capital formation.
The group’s advantage is not proximity to power. It is the ability to understand institutional priorities, protect trust, create repeatable intellectual property, structure complex partnerships and carry an opportunity from idea to evidence and scale.
Founder & Chief Executive
Col. Felix Alaita (Rtd.)
Felix Alaita is a retired Nigerian Army Colonel, strategist and venture builder whose career spans more than three decades of military service, senior national-security advisory work, institutional transformation, technology ecosystems and the creative economy.
He founded Kryterion to bridge a recurring African gap: strong ideas, products and relationships that fail because no one builds the complete operating pathway around them.
Operating model
One group. Clear boundaries.
We are streamlining the ecosystem around a small number of operating layers instead of creating a company for every idea.
Institutional core
Kryterion Limited: policy, strategy, programme architecture, P⁴I governance and stakeholder coordination.
Commercial systems & assets
Product development, systems integration, operating ventures, project SPVs, physical assets and commercial operations.
Owned IP & creative ventures
Repeatable conferences, challenges and festivals alongside music, film, media, cultural IP, talent and creative technology.
Ring-fenced platforms
Institutional pathways such as Defence Futures Lab with explicit neutrality, conflict and representation rules.

Principles
How we intend to grow.
Scale without structural discipline would dilute the very trust on which Kryterion’s opportunity depends.
Institution before personality
Convert founder credibility into systems, teams, governance and repeatable products.
Evidence before scale
Pilots, technical proof, commercial truth and measured results come before grand announcements.
Africa as operating context
Build for local institutions, infrastructure constraints, talent, regulation and long-term ownership—not imported theatre.
Presence
Abuja-rooted. Africa-facing. Internationally connected.
Abuja
Institutional, policy, programme and sovereign-capability operating base.
Lagos ecosystem
Technology, corporate, investor, media and creative-economy relationships.
International node
UK-linked corporate, capital, IP, distribution and global partnership pathways.
Continental corridors
Country partners, project SPVs and purpose-built pathways before permanent office expansion.
